Malahide Beach

I'm in love with Ireland.
I was so thrilled to be near the ocean. I was freaking out. As you can tell, it was absolutely beautiful. We easily could have spent all day just walking up and down the coast foot path.
We started the day by jumping on the city bus to Malahide. We had been searching online for fun things to do in Dublin and stumbled upon pictures of this beautiful castle so we decided to try it out. Thank god for 2 for 1 vouchers and student discounts, this country is all for helping the backpacking college kid. We made it to Malahide and got a tour of the incredible castle that had been built in the 1700's and lived in by the same family, the Tolbert's, for 800 years. We saw their personal Abbey that was destroyed by Oliver Cromwell. After our tour we took the foot path through the Malahide gardens and forest and out to the ocean. It was so beautiful I can't even describe it, we tried to take as many pictures and videos as we could just to try and show everyone back home how incredible it was. We spent probably an hour just walking up and down, taking pictures, finding shells and playing in the sand. It made us all very excited for our Easter Break.
I could have easily stayed in Malahide forever.
