A "Taste of PR"

There is no better feeling than loving what you do and who you are with. I realize that I am still a student and so the "what I do" part is not technically a job yet but still, I love school. It's silly to be in love with a major, and yes there are some classes that I don't like so much, but there really is no better feeling than realizing that you have finally found the direction you are supposed to be heading. Maybe the reason this is such a big deal for me is because it took me forever to get here and I spent WAYYY too much time stressing over what to do with my life.

I have this fabulous internship that I get to start next week and a million other commitments up here on campus. And I like it that way.
*Side note for all you young students out there, GET INVOLVED! Last year I made a promise to myself that I would spend senior year being as involved as possible. At the time it was just for resume building purposes, but I have grown to love everything I participate in. My roommates give me a hard time because they swear I have some sort of meeting on campus every night.

Tomorrow is the "Taste of PR" kick off dinner. I can't wait. In case I haven't told you before, this year I am the Social Media Director of the Vivint Mountain West Regional Public Relations Conference (long title, I know).

My job basically entails managing the website, Facebook, Twitter, email etc. for the conference. It's mainly promotional and informational. Through this experience I have made so many great friends who, thankfully, share the same love of PR that I have. We have all been working so hard on this dinner and of course, on the conference to be held in March. I am just so excited to see it all play out tomorrow night.
If you are going to be in Logan tomorrow and would like to attend our event you can sign up here. The cost is only $10 and you get Hamiltons for dinner! What could be better??
Hope to see you all there. I will be sure to post lots of pictures asap.
