I Love My Life!

Brought to you by popular demand:
The Story Of My Future Internship.

Yes, it's true, I'm moving to New York!!
Brooklyn to be more specific.

Last weekend was the Mountain West Regional Public Relations Conference
I have been a member of the committee for the conference this year and can I please just
say that getting involved it the best decision I ever made!
We flew in 3 speakers from New York City to present on their success and advise us on how to make the best possible career decisions we can. Being a senior this year I was very willing to accept any advice sent my way.

Throughout the weekend I spent a lot of time with our speakers, not so much because I was trying to network but mostly just because I was so amazed with the incredible lives they have. Thinking about how successful they are at such a young age still seems unreal. I took them to the Fun Park and to our very classy bar, Mulligan's.

On the last day of the conference I volunteered to drive the speakers to the SL airport. On our way down Mallory (one of the speakers) and I bonded over "cupcake clients" we had both done PR for and by the time we reached Sardine Canyon she had offered me a PAID summer internship at her unbelievable, incredible, famous PR firm called Small Girls PR in Brooklyn.

I spent the last hour of the drive trying to contain my excitement and not scream at the top of my lungs! It has been 5 days now and it still doesn't feel real.
I am actually moving to New York!

It's a dream come true.
If you want to know more about Small Girls PR, check out their website.
I feel so blessed, excited, nervous, and thrilled all at the same time. Summer can't come fast enough.

Thank you all so much for your support. I hope you can all come visit me in NYC.
xoxo

love,
your future Small Girl
