Exciting news at Small Girls PR today.. guess who has a new, fabulous client?? That's right, US!! Annnd it's a perfect fit because this client has all the same loves as us.. glitter, pastels, pretty dresses and dance parties!! But not just any parties.. PROM!! Yep, introducing:
In case you don't already know about Small Girls previous Prom experience, you should probably go here first..
I'm thrilled about this new, exciting client because working with them makes me feel like I'm prepping for the big dance all over again. My own senior (and junior) proms were kinda amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat if I could. After spending the afternoon daydreaming as I browsed through the website, I felt I had to blog about my favorite dresses (and compare them to the ones I actually wore back in the day).
Although it's been 4 years since I was in high school I don't know how much my "party dress" style has matured. All the dresses I am attracted to bring out the inner Taylor Swift in me. I go for the pastel, baby-doll, "today was a fairytale" kinda look.
See what I mean?? They are just so pretty. BTW I own a dress that looks pretty similar to these ones.. Oops!
Sooo, back to my actual prom. I was a little more plain back in the day. Flashy glitter or anything that brought too much attention to me wasn't really my thing. Hence the all white dress:
I was slightly awkward back then.. Clearly not a prom dress model like the lovely ladies above. The picture says it all. Ugh! (senior year, 2008)
Oh my gosh! (Junior year 2007) We look like such babies in this picture!! Not the best picture of me, but I still love it. It's always fun to see old pics of Tan. miss him. And, once more, I went for the plain black.
Anyways. Happy Monday everyone. Now you all know where to go for your next prom dress. ha!
