I have never experienced any type of natural disaster in my life. Other than snow, I can not even think of a reason that an entire city would be shut down. And even then, it only lasts a day.
Hurricane Sandy has all of New York and New Jersey going crazy. All public transportation is officially closed until at least Wednesday. The only thing I can compare it to is a crazy zombie movie where people are left without power and scavenging for resources.
I spent the weekend stalking up on nonperishable foods, batteries, flashlights, and water.
I have no idea how this will all turn out. I must admit I am fascinated with the situation. I pray everyone stays safe.
Tell me your thoughts.. Will Sandy be as crazy as the meteorologists are predicting? Any last minute survival tips? How would you spend your week locked indoors?
