Friday morning Taylor and I were talking and we decided that we were going to ensure that this weekend was epic. We brain stormed ideas of fun, out-of-the-box things we could do and decided we wanted to see a show. Minutes later we met up with Katie, who informed us that she was going to the Taylor Swift concert for work. That's all it took. We didn't think twice. Tay jumped on her phone and we booked tickets. From that point on the weekend was pretty awesome.
Here's how it went:
>> Katie, Tay and I went to the Taylor Swift concert. It was seriously one of my favorite nights in New York (and it was actually in New Jersey). We sang our lungs out. Literally. We couldn't speak after from all the cheering and singing. Taylor is amazing. I felt so silly, surrounded by 15 year old children, bawling their eyes out over a celebrity for about 5 minutes until I realized I was just as much of a super-fan! P.S. we knew every word.
>>Katie had amazing seats thanks to her sweet job (WPLJ shout out!) and half way through the concert we got to come sit with her on the floor. Above are the hearts we caught when T-Swift shot confetti all over the crowd.
My girl. Seriously though Taylor, let's be best friends?
>> This year, instead of a basket, Jaxon got an Easter package.
It contained: a six-pack of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups && two tickets to CINDERELLA on Broadway!
>> Saturday we spent the night in Williamsburg. Delicious food and even better company.
>> Miniature gentlemen. Isn't this a great picture?
>>Sunday was Easter! (Duh!) So we dressed our best, ate like kings at our fancy brunch, wandered Manhattan and went to church.
Yes, I'd say it was a wonderful weekend
